Q:	What is MTAS?
A:	MTAS (=Mobile Temperature Acquisition System) is a dynamic muli-channel and high-accurate Temperature Quality Validation system for thermal cycling instruments used for PCR(R)reactions.

Q:	Where can I purchase MTAS?
A:	You can not purchase this system. The MTAS validation and certification is offered by CYCLERtest or one of their authorized distributors.

Q:	Why should I validate my cycler?
A:	The MTAS system can detect minimum temperature variations, which your cycler cannot detect. Temperature un-uniformities, absolute temperature deviation, bad temperature gradient quality, hot and cold spots, not recognizable by your cycler, could result in a catastrophe! Independent validation is a necessity in ISO, GMP, GLP and other quality programs.

Q:	Why 16 channels?
A:	Substantial internal and external tests of all thermal cycler brands indicate that 16 channels placed on different locations in the sample block (96 wells) gives an acceptable overview of the overall sample block performance and thermal quality.

Q:	Earth Cable (yellow-green) connection...
A:	Since notebook computers have no connection with the mains-earth, a seperate cable is provided. This cable must be connected to the mains power outlet and the TV-out connector of the notebook.
